Another 5 soldiers became Heroes of Ukraine, but 4 – posthumously

Zelensky awarded the title of Hero to 5 military men/Channel 24

Vladimir Zelensky awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to 5 military men. Four of them, unfortunately, were awarded posthumously.

Zelensky also awarded the title of Hero to the head of a military-patriotic organization. This is stated in three presidential decrees on April 17, Channel 24 reports.

The title of Hero of Ukraine with the celebration of the Order of the Golden Star was awarded to:

• Lieutenant Lev Pashk:
• Senior Lieutenant Viktor Golovko (posthumous);
• Major Roman Sobkiv (posthumous);
• Lieutenant Colonel Igor Dashko (posthumous);
• Colonel Vitaly Kucheryavy (posthumously);
• the head of the Kharkiv public organization “Military-patriotic organization” Freikor “Georgy Tarasenko (posthumously).

Zelensky awarded the military and the chairman of the organization for “personal courage and heroism shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people.”
