In the Belgorod region, schools have switched to distance learning. This is due to constant shelling.
The region also asked for subsidies for the “Safe City” system. This is reported by the Russian media, channel 24 reports.
Schools will now study online
As it became known, schools in two border regions of the Belgorod region were transferred to distance learning. Local authorities daily report shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We are talking about the territories of two districts of the Belgorod region – a 15-kilometer zone along the border in the Valuysky urban district and a 10-kilometer zone in Shebekinsky, with the exception of the city of Shebekino itself. By the way, restrictions have also been applied in kindergartens: regular groups will work there.
Russian regions are afraid
In addition, the authorities of the Russian regions bordering Ukraine and the L/DPR quasi-republics have asked the Russian government to allocate additional funds for the implementation of the Safe City system. It will cost the budget 13.7 billion rubles.
The governor of the Belgorod region urged residents of border villages to evacuate
While the Kremlin continues to give stories that “everything is going well according to plan,” the governor of the Belgorod region spoke about the evacuation. Residents of border villages are recommended to leave their homes.
He said that residents of the settlements of Zhuravlovka and Nekhotevka need to be evacuated.
For this, the governor even left his office and arrived in Zhuravlevka. There, he stated that he would urge people to evacuate until they agreed. In the meantime, their houses are planned to be mothballed.
The governor said that people are panicking. The number of hysterical messages in social networks is growing.
