The occupiers reported on the successful repulsion of the attack

The night of July 16 turned out to be very alarming for the occupiers. Thus, powerful explosions were heard in different regions of the aggressor country, in particular in the Kursk region.

There a large-scale fire broke out at a plant in Korenevo, Kursk region. It is known that this enterprise produces products for the energy sector and other branches of Russian industry.

At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense traditionally reports on the “successful repulsion of the attack.” Thus, the occupiers stated that they allegedly shot down 13 drones:

  • 9 drones were allegedly destroyed over the Rostov region,
  • 1 drone each in the Kursk, Voronezh, Belgorod regions, as well as in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

By the way, on the night of July 16, explosions were also heard in temporarily occupied Mariupol. Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Andryushchenko said that there were at least 2 flights in the city, probably between Nevsky and Agrobaza in the direction of Mangush. Local residents report that the light has partially disappeared in the city.
