The war will continue/Getty Images
May 9 is approaching – conditional psychological date, which is important for the Russian dictator Putin.
However, the war will continue after this date. Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko told Channel 24 about this.
According to him, in this case, we cannot say that Russia will receive any “achievements” by this time. However, the end of hostilities is still far away.
After May 9, unfortunately, May 10 will come and the war will continue,” Denisenko said.
Moreover, one cannot say that the Russians will get tired and say that they are ending the war. It's too early to wait.
The Kremlin's plans
“In principle, now in the Kremlin, as far as I can tell, they are now making decisions for themselves what they will do next with the occupied territories – whether they will announce there are conditional republics, or they will annex them,” Denisenko added.
Opinions on this score differ in Moscow. The fact is that the head of the Kremlin, Putin, now has no understanding of what is happening in these territories. He does not trust the previous team.
Russia is preparing for provocations
- Russians are actively preparing for the celebration of May 9th. They are doing everything possible to coincide with what happened some kind of “victory” in the war with Ukraine.
- The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that for the Russian authorities the date of May 9 has become “sacred”. In view of this, then in Ukraine there may be provocations or an aggravation of the situation at the front.
- According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian invaders are preparing a “parade” on May 9 in the ruined Mariupol. Now there is a large-scale propaganda campaign going on there.
- Russia may resort to new provocations on this day. Therefore, it is important for Ukrainians to be vigilant and follow simple rules. In particular, Denisenko stressed that it is strictly forbidden to visit forests and forest plantations in regions where enemy troops were temporarily located – in Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv regions, etc.
- Ukrainians are also asked to refrain from mass gatherings.< /li>
