In the near future, a working group on bills on reforming the Accounts Chamber will be launched in the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada with the involvement of representatives of the EU and the USA.
This was announced after a meeting with the Budget Control Committee (CONT) of the European Parliament by MP, head of the Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee Roksolana Pidlasa on the page Facebook.
— This time the focus is on the issue of transparency and control over the use of European money. According to the European Commission's findings on Ukraine's application for membership, Ukraine should expand the mandate of the Accounts Chamber and introduce the use of all international auditing standards. “I was pleased to announce that in the near future the Budget Committee will launch a working group on bills on reforming the Accounts Chamber, to which, in particular, we will invite representatives of the EU and the USA,” she wrote.
