A powerful explosion occurred in the city of Brovary, Kyiv region, resulting in injured people.
Explosion in Brovary today
The city mayor of Brovary, Igor Sapozhko, reported that an explosion occurred on Independence Boulevard near the Chervoniy Market store at approximately 20:40.
According to preliminary data, two people were injured as a result of the explosion in Brovary, one of whom is a police officer.

Both men survived, but are in moderate condition. Now they are in the hospital, doctors are providing all the necessary assistance.

The National Police reported that they received a call regarding hooliganism by an unknown person. When law enforcement officers arrived at the address, the man began to run away.
The policeman began to chase him, after which the attacker threw a grenade towards the law enforcement officer. As a result of the explosion, a policeman and the man himself were injured.
The detainee is charged with Art. 348 (Encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer, a member of a public formation for the protection of public order and the state border, or a military serviceman) and Part 1 of Art. 263 (Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
