Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko met with the leaders of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Davos and discussed further assistance to Ukraine. Among the main announced projects is the construction of an emergency hospital.
Vitali Klitschko announced this in his telegram channel.
Met in Davos with EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso and First Vice President Jürgen Rigterink. We discussed further cooperation between the bank and Kyiv. Today the capital is implementing several large and important projects together with the EBRD. We are also discussing with partners the financing of the construction of an emergency hospital on the right bank of the capital,” said Vitali Klitschko.

The Mayor of Kyiv noted that today Kyiv is implementing several projects jointly with the EBRD. In particular:
- financing the purchase of metro cars by Kyiv – for 50 million euros;
- assistance in the modernization of the heat and power complex – the total amount of the project is 140 million euros;
- repair of the metro bridge across the Dnieper – 60 million euros.

We continue and implement all projects . Kyiv will continue to be helped. I thank our partners and friends who believe in Kyiv and Ukraine! – stressed Klitschko.
Recall, Vitali Klitschko is taking part in the World Economic Forum in Davos. As previously noted on the KSCA website, he will join the “Restoration of Ukraine” strategic session and will meet with a number of European politicians and representatives of big world business who are ready to help Kyiv and Ukraine in modernization.
