Finnish authorities have seized a section of beach belonging to Russia and used for diplomats to relax.

This was reported by the local television and radio company Yle.

Russia's Seized Property in Finland

Property belonging to Russia has begun to be seized in various parts of Finland. One of the plots is a seaside plot belonging to Russia, located in Heggesbøli in Kirkkonummi.

According to the land register, the plot includes 17 hectares of land and three and a half hectares of sea area. A bailiff seized it on October 24, the report says.

Another plot that Yle checked is located in Siuntio. It covers almost 8,000 square meters. In 1973, the plot was purchased by the commercial representation of the Soviet Union.
