Alternatively, an ex-SBU officer allows Russia to blow up the ZNPP in order to get out of the war

It became known that the Russian occupiers are concentrating their equipment near the 5th power unit of the Zaporozhye NPP. So experts no longer rule out the worst case scenario.

Ivan Stupak, a former SBU officer and expert at the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, called it quite likely that the Russians could blow up a power plant in Zaporozhye. He said this on Channel 24.

According to him, the Russians can commit a man-made disaster with only one goal – Putin wants to get out of the war in Ukraine and “sell” this to the Russians as a victory and a “forced step”. At the same time, the Kremlin dictator wants to retain control over the territories already temporarily occupied.

This “game” around the nuclear power plant is possible as an option, they say, “to be afraid, not to be mocked,” Stupak said.

He explained that the Kremlin has an internal political bloc that “draws” future development scenarios events, including the situation at ZNPP. It is clear that the analysts there are not the best.

At the same time, as the expert added, Putin really wants to establish himself as a “great strategist” and leader of a “strong army.” He also wants to spread fear in the West. However, if he does this, he misses the moment that the weather conditions may not play in his favor, so he is the first to take all the risks.

“But this is impossible to predict, this is Russian roulette,” Stupak added. .
