In Turkey, the formation of the hull of the Hetman Ivan Mazepa corvette has actually been completed. Photos of the future flagship of the Ukrainian Navy appeared on the network.

Turkey showed a corvette that is being built for Ukraine
The corvette, which is being built for Ukraine, has already been given the number F 211 and the name Hetman Ivan Mazepa. The name of the future flagship of the Ukrainian Navy was given by President Volodymyr Zelensky on August 18.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine signed a contract for the construction of two ADA-type corvettes with Turkish companies in December 2020. The first ship was laid down in Turkey in September 2021.
At the end of December of the same year, the ship's hull began to be assembled at a shipbuilding company in Istanbul. It was previously planned that the partially equipped corvette would be towed to Ukraine for completion by the end of 2022.

Ada is a corvette project under the MILGEM program, created for the Turkish Navy. Its main characteristics are:

- length – 99.5 meters,
- width – 14.4 meters,
- draft – 3.6 meters,
- power plant – 1 GTE GE 2500, 30,800 hp + 2 diesel engines MTU 16V595TE90, 11,580 hp

According to open sources, the issue of weapons for the Ukrainian corvette has not yet been finally resolved. The Neptune, Harpoon, NSM and Atmaca anti-ship missiles were considered as anti-ship missile weapons.
The French VL MICA naval air defense system was considered for the role of anti-aircraft weapons. The artillery armament of the corvette should consist of OTO Melara Super Rapid 76 mm and Millennium 35 mm cannons. In turn, Murene 90 Impact was considered as a torpedo.
