As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated at the International Conference on Food Security Grain from Ukraine, thanks to this program alone, about 20 million people have been saved from starvation.
According to him, in total, food exports from Ukraine provide for 400 million people in 100 countries around the world.

— With its war against Ukraine, Russia has shown that there are no countries that are truly far from each other. Everything in the world is now connected. We are all interested in no one fighting against food, the head of state says.
At the same time, Ukraine manages to maintain its status as a donor of food security, despite the full-scale war of the Russian Federation, emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.
In his opinion, it is important to continue working together to protect food security, the security of food supply routes and other critical export goods.
