In the South, Russian invaders continue to carry out artillery and air attacks. The enemy strikes both at the positions of the Ukrainian military and at civilian settlements.
During the day on May 25, the invaders carried out 3 raidsmilitary helicopters along the collision line in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. This was reported in the summary of the operational command “South” on the night of May 26.
What happened in the South of Ukraine on May 25
OK ” Yug” noted that the enemy carried out 3 raids along the collision line in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions with Mi-8 helicopters – 2 – 3 units in a group. One of these air attacks by a trio of enemy helicopters, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to thwart– the occupiers, evading Ukrainian fire, returned to their original positions.
As a result of enemy artillery shelling along the line of collision, including a 152 mm Hyacinth-B trailed gun, a non-detonated projectile into a residential building, injuring one civilian.
The projectile was successfully defusedemployees of the State Emergency Service, the victim was provided with medical assistance. The OK “South” assured that every violation by Russia of the norms of international humanitarian law is reported to the competent authorities.
At the same time, the enemy continues to carry out aerial reconnaissance, trying to identify the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also seeks to determine ways to counter the Ukrainian military along the coast of Odessa and Mykolaiv regions.

Despite the active shelling by artillery and aircraft, the enemy continues to suffer losses in the South. So, during the day on May 25, our defenders and defenders managed to destroy:
- 20 Russian invaders;
- 2 enemy self-propelled artillery mounts;
- 1 anti-aircraft gun invaders;
- enemy vehicles.
Recall that as of May 25, since February 24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 29,450 Russian occupiers strong>. In addition, the enemy suffered crushing losses in equipment.
