Russian aviation left Belarus

According to media reports, 11 helicopters flew from the Machulishchi airfield to the Seshcha airfield in the Bryansk region. We are talking about 4 Mi-8 and 7 Mi-24 of the Russian military space forces.

In addition, 9 Su-34 and Su-30SM fighters took off from the Baranovichi airfield.

Most of the departing helicopters and planes have been in Belarus since the beginning of January 2023. The Russian aviation formation on the territory of Belarus completely ceased to exist.

As of September 1, only one Russian Su-25 attack aircraft remained in Belarus, which flew to Machulishchi on July 25, and on August 31 moved to the Lida airfield. .

Now Russia will not be able to shell peaceful Ukrainian cities from the territory of Belarus.

Russian military personnel are still in Belarus

The field camps of the Russian Armed Forces at the training grounds: “Obuz-Lesnovsky”, “Lepelsky” and “Osipovichsky” were liquidated, and the military personnel who were there and who were part of the RGV left for Russia and this was not a rotation, the message says.

However, there are still Russian military personnel in Belarus. In particular:

  • at the airfields “Mozyr” (“Bokov”) and “Zyabrovka” – up to 600 people.
  • at the radio engineering center “Baranovichi” and 43 communication centers ” Vileika” – up to 1450 people.
  • and military personnel who arrived for CSTO training – 100 people.
