The Russian military continues to shell Kharkiv and the region on a regular basis. Late in the evening on February 20, the enemy tried to attack the regional center with S-300 missiles.
It was restless in the Kharkiv region after 22:00 on February 20. Then it became known that the enemy could attack the region with S-300 missiles. Subsequently, there were launches, but not a single enemy shell flew.
Enemy missiles “remained at home”
So, let's see the chronology of a possible attack. So, at 22:34, the monitoring channel reported that there was a threat of an attack by the Kharkiv region from an air defense system. Already at 23:00, a message was received about the launch of missiles in the Belgorod region.
At 23:18, an update was received. It noted that none of the missiles reached the Kharkiv region.According to available information, they exploded in the air over the Belgorod region. We remind you that the invaders are attacking with S-300 missiles, which are not designed for ground strikes. In all likelihood, this time the containers were loaded with unmodified missiles. And if they are modified, then someone obviously forgot to fasten something. At 23:20 it became known about repeated launches. But even then there were no arrivals.
The head of the Kharkov military garrison, Sergei Melnyk, succinctly reacted to the attack on the region with S-300 missiles. He ironically remarked that the enemy weapons decided to remain on the territory of the aggressor country.
Update: All missiles are now “home” to the enemy. It’s better there, everything is “home-like,” Melnyk emphasized.
The number of missile strikes may increase
- It should be understood that on the eve of February 24, the enemy may continue his missile terror. At the same time, one should expect both massive missile attacks and small, but almost daily ones.
- As Fyodor Venislavsky noted, an aggravation can occur during February 22-24. These days, I am sure a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, the enemy can carry out attacks. At the same time, he noted that the enemy uses not hundreds, but dozens, possibly up to hundreds of missiles.
- No matter how many missiles the enemy fires, it should be understood that they are all the most dangerous. Your task is to stay in cover during the air raid. Do not leave the safe place until the all-clear. It could save your life.
