In Russia, the recruitment of prisoners to a private military company run by Evgeny Prigozhin, close to Putin, never stops. At the expense of murderers and rapists, who have nothing to lose, Moscow wants to effectively replenish its personnel and maintain the general combat effectiveness of the army.
Nevertheless, according to Channel 24 sources in Ukrainian intelligence agencies, with the recruitment of prisoners for the war, Russian generals also get a bunch of problems. After all, distributing weapons to people without principles, persecuting them to death as “harmless meat” is not the best idea.
Groups consisting of prisoners occupy the lowest line in the gradation of the Russian army and have a minimum number of rights. They are considered people of even lower grade than those mobilized in the Donbass. Although at the same time, prisoners are much more useful on the battlefield than civilians forced to go to war.
Kadyrovites are being sent to the places where the Wagnerites are fighting

- However, in their free time from the war, former prisoners are engaged in their usual activities – theft and robbery. In some places, they arrange raids on representatives of the Russian army, which is desperately looting.
The so-called counter-terrorist operation in Kherson was connected with this, because the Wagner fighters decided to kill the Russian robbers and take everything that they had taken from the civilians. This led to a rather serious battle between the convicts, the Russian military and the Kadyrovites.
The Wagnerians killed several conscripts in cold blood, after which detachments of Kadyrovites pulled up to the scene and called paratroopers to help them. Not without losses, for their part, the latter eliminated some of the prisoners, while others were detained. Only after that, the “tiktokers” crawled out of hiding and exponentially shot the mercenaries.
None of the prisoners will return back
Representatives of the Ukrainian special services claim that the Russian command, even before the prisoners were sent to the combat zone, received a clear order on their mandatory liquidation. So, prisoners who legally escaped from behind bars are going to be put to waste, if not on the battlefield, then during rotations or after the expiration of the contract.
The decision to shoot every prisoner who manages to survive in the war with Ukraine, the Kremlin deprives itself of many problems.
