23-year-old Alexey Loginov, a former goalkeeper of the White Bars hockey club, died defending Ukraine from Russian invaders. He was 23 years old.
His death was reported by the Ukrainian Hockey Federation and KNU.
Loginov died on November 8, 2023 while performing a combat mission in the Severodonetsk district of the Lugansk region. He voluntarily mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine because he believed that it was his duty.

The KNU reported that in his last moment of life, Loginov was running to a wounded soldier when an artillery shell exploded near him.
The funeral of Alexei Loginov will take place on Thursday, November 16, starting at 13:00 at the Lukyanovsky cemetery.
What is known about Alexey Loginov?
He was born in 1997 and was the only child in the family. He studied at the Faculty of Geography of KNU. Shevchenko and was a graduate of the KIMO master's program.
He started playing hockey at the Kyiv Sokol school, with whom in 2015 he became the bronze medalist of the Ukrainian Championship among U-17 teams. Later he was in the Kryzhinka system, and in 2017 he made his debut in the adult championship of Ukraine for the capital Ice Wolves.
Subsequently, he moved to Belyi Bars, with whom he became the champion of Ukraine 2018 among youth and joined the Bely Tserkva team in receiving bronze in the adult championship.
