What is known about Alexander Pavlyuk
He was born in the Zhitomir region, in Novograd-Volynsky on August 20, 1970.

In 1991 he graduated from the Kharkov Guards Higher Tank Command School, and in 2004 — National Defense Academy of Ukraine.
He was the commander of a tank platoon in the city of Hilirsleben of the Western Group of Forces in Germany from 1991 to 1993. Then he became the commander of a tank company in Novograd-Volynsky, and then the deputy of a tank battalion.
From November 1999 to August 2003 he was commander of a tank battalion in Novograd-Volynsky.
In 2006-2007, he commanded the Ukrainian peacekeeping forces in Kosovo.

In July 2021, Pavlyuk became commander of the Joint Forces Operation. On March 15, 2022, he was appointed chairman of the Kyiv OVA. He worked in this position until May 21.
From February 21, 2023, he was appointed chief of staff — Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and at the same time was the commander of the Group of Defense Forces and Means of Defense of Kyiv. On February 21, 2023, Pavlyuk was appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense.
