Ukrainian oligarch enterprises have huge debts for electricity/Collage 24 channel

A number of Ukrainian enterprises owned by oligarchs owe billions of hryvnias for electricity transmission and dispatching services. We are talking about enterprises whose ultimate beneficiaries are Rinat Akhmetov, Igor Kolomoisky and Viktor Pinchuk.

This is evidenced by the documents that participants in the energy market handed over to investigative journalists of the Schemes program. According to the documents, large industrial consumers and electricity suppliers began to accumulate significant debts immediately after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24.

Debts of enterprises owned by oligarchs

< p>As of April 1, electricity exporters owe 2 billion 544 million hryvniafor energy transmission services. According to the documents, the main debtor is the trader D.Trading, part of the DTEK energy holding, the ultimate beneficiary of which is the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.

Receipts from D.Trading have significantly stopped after February 25, – clarified the source of “Schemes” in the energy market.

In addition, ferroalloy enterprises were among the debtors. As of April 1, they owe more than 55 million hryvnia for electricity transmission services, as well as more than 26 million for its dispatching.

Reference. Electricity dispatching is a centralized system for managing, controlling and protecting various engineering processes, which, in particular, prevents emergency situations.

By the way, the total debts of ferroalloy enterprises for these two services exceeded 80 million hryvnias . A significant weakening of the calculations, in particular, concerns the Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, which is part of the sphere of influence of Igor Kolomoisky and Viktor Pinchuk.

At the same time, the Dneprostal metallurgical plant, which is part of the pipe- wheel company “Interpipe” – its ultimate beneficiary is the family of Victor Pinchuk. As of April 1, according to Schemes, the company owed incomplete 25 million hryvnias for this service.

Add that Radio Liberty turned to DTEK, Nikopol the plant and Interpipe with a request, where they tried to clarify what the debts were connected with. However, the editors have not yet received any answers.
