Fighters from the Netherlands, France, Germany, Canada, the USA, Britain and Italy arrived at the Leeuwarden airbase. This base is used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force.

NATO planes from the above countries will conduct military exercises in the Netherlands. It is reported that Allied fighters will carry out complex missions and thus improve NATO interoperability, as well as create a stronger and more cohesive Alliance.
In particular, Canada reported that its CF-18 Hornet fighters have already arrived in the Netherlands and are ready to start with their allies the FRISIAN FLAG exercise, which is held on an annual basis.
