The company noted that the decision to resume flights also related to the requirements of the passengers. People want to use tickets purchased during the pandemic and after the airspace closed in February.
These circumstances have resulted in difficulties that hundreds of our fellow citizens face every day: the need to re-purchase overpriced tickets, longer travel times, long and tiring connecting flights. – said Air Moldova.
The airline writes that travel is especially difficult in case of emergency medical care. And fast and safe air travel “is a necessity for our citizens.”
“Restoring air links with the Russian Federation is a response to the demands of our compatriots,” the company writes on Facebook.
