Following the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the ministerial level, which took place in The Hague, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha announced new aid packages from international partners and investments that are planned to be provided to our country.
Europe will support Ukraine
Following the meeting, Sibiga noted Europe’s readiness to increase pressure on Russia.
— They will continue support, there will be new packages and investments – air defense, shells, drones. The Russian Federation was and will be the main threat to Europe and NATO, — the minister wrote.
He emphasized that Ukraine remains committed to peace, while Russia is blocking any initiative in this direction. According to Sybiga, the first step to ending the war should be a ceasefire.

The Minister stressed the importance of the US role in ensuring security on the European continent.
“Russia, Iran, and the DPRK are accomplices, and we need to counteract them together. The security of Ukraine and the Euro-Atlantic region is indivisible, the future of Ukraine is in NATO,” added Sybiga.
NATO Summit in The Hague
Let us recall that the NATO summit is taking place in The Hague on June 24-25. The meetings are organized under the leadership of the Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte within the walls of the World Forum.
NATO member countries have agreed to spend at least 5% of their GDP annually on defence and security until 2035.
According to the adopted declaration, each state undertakes to submit annual plans demonstrating stable and consistent progress towards achieving this goal. A comprehensive assessment of the results achieved is envisaged for 2029.
The document also contains a clause confirming the Alliance's readiness to continue supporting Ukraine. It states that the security of our state is a key element of overall Euro-Atlantic stability.
