Strengthening air defense remains the number one priority for the Ukrainian forces, more shells and all types of armored vehicles are also needed.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense during a joint press conference with Bulgarian Defense Minister Todor Tagarev in Odessa Ukraine Aleksey Reznikov.
— What weapon are we still waiting for? Priorities have not changed. Priority number one — air defense. We need to increase the defense network of the Ukrainian sky, — he said.
Reznikov noted that the second priority for Ukraine — “shells, shells and more shells”. In particular, the head of the Ministry of Defense called an important decision of the Bulgarian government to join the EU program for the supply of 155-mm artillery ammunition to Ukraine.
The third thing Ukrainian forces need — all types of armored vehicles.
— Armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles, tanks, etc. And the very important — armored means of evacuation of our wounded from the battlefield, — said the Minister of Defense.
He also noted the importance of training Ukrainian servicemen in various areas.
