Colonel Ivan Arefiev, a representative of the Zaporizhzhya OVA, stressed that nothing threatens the residents of the city yet.

- On May 3, the enemy opened fire from artillery on the village of Zheleznodorozhnoye, near Gulyaipol. As a result of the attack, 2 civilians were killed, 12 houses and a school were damaged. On this fact, the prosecutor's office opened a criminal case under the article on violation of the laws of warfare, which is connected with premeditated murder.
- An evacuation convoy arrived in Zaporozhye with civilians from Mariupol, as well as those who were at the Azovstal plant. In addition to relatives and volunteers, rescued civilians were also met by the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Irina Vereshchuk.
- On May 2, the enemy army fired at the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces near the settlement of Orekhov. The Russians fired from artillery.

The so-called “chairman” was the former teacher of the boarding school Yuri Volzhanin, and his deputy – the traitor Natalya Zhila.
