What is the situation in the main directions: data from the General Staff/Collage of Channel 24
Russian invaders are trying to carry out active offensive actions to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and reach the administrative borders of the Luhansk region. At the same time, intensive shelling of the border regions of Ukraine continues.
In addition, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops continue reconnaissance, and the territory of Belarus is still a springboard for enemy missiles.

Seversk direction
Russian troops are trying to cover a section of the Ukrainian-Russian border and equip strongholds here. Enemy groups are fixed on the territory of the Bryansk region. From here and a number of other Russian cities, the occupiers inflict air strikes on civilian and military infrastructure in the Sumy region.
Kharkov and Slavyansk directions
Artillery shelling also sounded in the area of the village of Sverchki, in the Kharkiv region, where the enemy was trying to neutralize units of the Defense Forces. Also, the infidels conducted reconnaissance in combat in the area of the settlement of Pasika. But, having suffered losses, they retreated to the previously occupied lines.
Donetsk direction
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy launched air strikes on civilian infrastructure facilities in settlements:

- Liman,
- Slavyansk.
The enemy intensified hostilities on the Liman direction. Using artillery and aircraft, enemy troops continue to attack in the direction of the village of Liman.
In the Severodonetsk direction, with the support of artillery fire, the Russians are advancing in the direction of the village of Severodonetsk. Currently, hostilities continue.
On the Bakhmut direction the enemy is moving in the direction of the settlements of Lipovo and Belogorovka.
In the Avdiivka, Kurakhovskoe, Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions, the occupiers attacked with assault and army aircraft.
At the same time, the invaders do not stop mortar and artillery attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Avdiivka settlements , Peski and Marinka.
South Nobuzh direction
Here the Russians continue to use all weapons available to them. So, over the past day, they fired at our defenders with mortars, multiple launch rocket systems, and cannon artillery. Also, enemy groups are engaged in counter-battery combat. Separately, it is noted that the infidels launched an air strike in the area of the settlement of Nikolaevka.
The General Staff emphasizes that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are eliminating the invaders in all directions and holding back their advance. This is also evidenced by the losses of the enemy. So, for 3 months of the war in Ukraine, a colossal number of Russian invaders died – on the morning of May 24, our defenders destroyed 29,350 enemy fighters.
