In the Armenian capital, people took to the streets to protest. They demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The protesters called him “the main person responsible for the war.” Relatives of the fallen soldiers and the opposition gathered on September 13 near the parliament building.
Residents protested demanding Pashinyan's resignation
They went to the center of Yerevan citizens of the country, as well as relatives of the fallen soldiers and representatives of opposition parties.
Remove Nikol Pashinyan, the main person responsible for the war, said Edgar Ghazaryan, a member of the Unity initiative.
According to him, they gathered near the parliament premises not by chance: “The National Assembly is the only legitimate body, despite its legally vulnerable status, which can express distrust in the prime minister in the manner prescribed by the Constitution and do so without taking into account his will.” Edgar Ghazaryan explained:- “if the deputies take the initiative to express no confidence in the prime minister, enter the parliament to vote and we can achieve the desired decision through public pressure, then Nikol Pashinyan will automatically terminate his powers within 24 hours;”

That's why a member of the Unity initiative urged people to join them and spend the night protesting at the entrance to the National Assembly.
According to media reports, the protesters on September 14 from 8 am plan to block all entrances to the parliament building, demanding the resignation of the prime minister.

What preceded this
- It is worth remembering that on the night of September 13 to September 13, the situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia escalated again. The countries reported provocations and shelling at the border.
- After that, the Prime Minister of Armenia turned to Russia and the CSTO for help.
