Agenda “included” with citizenship: Russia sent Egyptian student Anzhelika Baibak to war

An Egyptian who fought on the side of Russia was captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As it turned out, the guy came to study, but along with Russian citizenship he also received a summons to the front.

The press officer of the 79th airborne assault Tavricheskaya brigade, Orest Drimalivsky, spoke about this on the air of Suspilnoye, reports 24 Channel.

Russia sent an Egyptian student to war

Ukrainian paratroopers captured a Russian soldier in the Kurakhovsky direction. Later, interesting details were learned about him.

Drimalivsky said that the prisoner was Egyptian. He came to Russia to study to get a higher education in the field of IT technologies. Subsequently, the young man was also promised Russian citizenship. However, along with the Russian passport, the Egyptian was also handed a summons to the front.

A month later, the student was sent to storm near Kurakhovo in the Donetsk region. As they added in the 79th brigade, the guy was lucky, because he was practically the only one from the group who survived.

He was lucky, he was practically the only one from the assault group who managed to survive. He was taken prisoner. He is an interesting character – he knows four languages, he is a polyglot. Perhaps it will be possible to exchange him for those Ukrainian guys who are in Russian captivity, – said Drimalivskiy.

Earlier it became known that Russia sent to the front those who returned from captivity. Moreover, the command decided to immediately send them to “meat assaults”.
