Russians had to withdraw another BTG for regrouping/Armed Forces of Ukraine
Russian troops are constantly trying to move deep into the Donbass and at the same time keep all the occupied territories of the South. Due to active hostilities and constant losses, Putin is gradually losing strength for decisive breakthroughs and serious victories.

According to channel 24 intelligence sources, covert mobilization in Russia and total mobilization on the territory of Donbass, together with the active recruitment of mercenaries, allow the invaders to compensate for their losses. However, the recruitment of a large number of combat-ready men for all 5 months of hostilities has never allowed the Russians to increase the initial number of their troops.
Every month the number of battalion-tactical groups participating in the war against Ukraine tended to decrease .
A week later, several BTGs fell off
- The invaders constantly concentrated their troops in one direction or another, tried to destroy cities and advance, after which the defeated battalion tactical groups were sent to regroup.
- In Russia or in the rear zone, new suicide bombers were brought to the remnants of the destroyed formations, after which the group was again declared combat-ready and sent into battle.
- Putin’s Hordes do the same with equipment. However,if at the beginning of the war one could see brand new tanks, armored personnel carriers, MTLBs and other armored vehicles on the battlefield, now mostly re-opened 40-year-old samples are brought to Ukraine.
- In early August, Russian generals boasted that they had managed to replenish their troops and reach the mark of 100 battalion tactical groups in the war zone. However, a week later they had to withdraw one formation. After all, the work of the Ukrainian artillery and aviation made the BTG incapable of combat.
Due to all these factors, although Russia still has a huge potential for waging a devastating war with a barrage of fire, the size of the occupying troops is gradually decreasing every week. At the same time, the Russians cannot yet organize an attack on some big city or think about another “heroic breakthrough into Kyiv”. Indeed, for this they will have to demonstrate a “gesture of goodwill” in almost all operational areas and form a shock fist somewhere near Mozyr.
Moreover, politically such a step is simply impossible, and as of today, the occupiers cannot afford to gather the required number of troops and arm them to open a new front. They are barely able to provide their personnel with everything they need. In addition, due to the work of HIMARS, the invaders have additional constant problems with logistics.
There are enough volunteers
Nevertheless, according to intelligence , inside Russia and on the territory of the occupied Crimea there are still many men who are ready to sign short-term contracts and go to war in Ukraine. Therefore, the replenishment of its troops and maintaining its strength at the level of 200 thousand people can last quite a long time solely due to the bloodthirstiness and greed of the population. But with the constant rearmament of the invader battalions and brigades in Russia, a real problem may arise.
Because the Kremlin cannot physically produce as many tanks as the occupiers have already lost, and the reactivated equipment has serious problems and has not been modernized. However, Putin does not give a damn whether the “vankas” are fighting in the latest tank with dynamic protection, or they were stuffed into the tank on which their grandfathers rode.
