The enemy continues to try to hold the temporarily seized territories of Ukraine and wants to attack in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. But along the entire front line, the invaders are facing powerful resistance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the invaders near 6 settlements.
We are talking about:
- Berestovo, Kharkiv region;
- Bakhmutskoye, Ivangrad, Kleschievka, Pervomayskoye and Marinka, Donetsk region.
At the same time, the enemy fires at the positions of our troops along the entire line of contact, provides engineering equipment for defense positions and lines in certain directions, and conducts aerial reconnaissance. The enemy launched 10 missile and 58 air strikes during the day. More than 35 settlements were affected by them.
In addition, the invaders used 43 Iranian-made Shahed-136 unmanned aerial vehicles, 38 of which were successfully shot down by Ukrainian soldiers.
In different directions, the enemy committed shelling. It was restless:
- in the Seversky direction – from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Senkovka, Chernihiv region and Seredina-Buda and Dmitrovka, Sumy region;
- in the Slobozhansky direction – from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Khatne, Staritsa and Strelechya;
- in the Kupyansky direction – from mortars, cannon and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Berestovo , Gryanikovka, Dvurechnaya, Kotlyarovka, Serebryanka and Stelmakhovka;
- in the Liman direction – from artillery of various sizes, in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Grekovka, Zarechnoye, Nadezhda, Novoegorovka and Terny. Here, the enemy also used attack UAVs;
- in the Bakhmut and Avdeevsky directions, the enemy inflicted fire damage from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery along the line of collision;
- in the Novopavlovsky and Zaporozhye directions, the enemy fired more than 15 settlements. Among them are Belogorye, Bogoyavlenka, Vuhledar, Malinovka, Orekhov and Shevchenko;
- in the Yuzhnobuzhsky direction, the invaders fired at military and civilian infrastructure. More than 20 settlements along the collision line received fire damage. To conduct aerial reconnaissance, the enemy made more than 30 UAV sorties.
Achievement of our Armed Forces in a day
Defence Force aviation over the past day dealt 22 strikes. 18 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, a strong point, as well as 3 positions of enemy anti-aircraft missile systems were confirmed to be defeated. Air defense units shot down 3 cruise missiles.
Missile troops and artillery hit:
- control center,
- staging area manpower,
- weapons and military equipment,
- 2 air defense and artillery facilities,
- 1 ammunition depot and other military targets of the enemy.
Note that a hostile sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to outflank Ukrainian positions near Novaya Kamenka. However, in the shooting battle, the saboteurs suffered losses and retreated to their original positions.
