According to him, Norway will support the Ukrainian people in the fight against Russia from the first months of 2024. Provision of financial support is provided to cover expenses for education, health care and pensions in general. At the beginning of 2024, more than 250 million euros will also be provided for the functioning of the education and health sectors through the URTF fund under the auspices of the World Bank. 28 million euros are provided for further strengthening of air defense. In addition, Norway will provide Ukraine with the NASAMS air defense system. Some of them will be sent from the country's own warehouses, while others will be ordered from manufacturers for delivery later. Also, a significant part of the funds will be allocated to strengthening the capabilities of the defense industry so that more can be produced for Ukraine shells and missiles. At the same time, a “winter” UN humanitarian program for Ukraine is provided, designed to provide shelter, basic things and food to people who are left homeless as a result overhead.
