One of the hottest areas of the front is the Svatovo-Kremennaya section. The situation there is difficult, our military is slowly but surely moving forward.
On the air of the Espresso TV channel, the chairman of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai told why the de-occupation of Kremennaya is strategically important for Ukraine. He also noted that the invaders had already managed to prepare well for the defense of the city.
Why is it important for Ukraine to dismiss Kremennaya
According to Gaidai, the Ukrainian military, having deoccupied Kremennaya, will be ableto split the enemy group into two parts.
Russian soldiers understand that a tremendous defeat awaits them, so they do everything to somehow delay it. In particular, the invaders bypass the territory, and also pull up equipment and reserves.
They clearly understand that if the time comes and Kremennaya is deoccupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then they will lose a strategic settlement, because Rubizhnoye, Severodonetsk and Lysichansk are already on their way, – said Gaidai.
He noted that after that Russians will have meager chances even for Bakhmut, because their troops will “fall in”.
In addition, Gaidai stressed that the liberation of Kremennaya from the Russian invaders will open the direction to Starobelsk, in the event of de-occupation of which the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be kept under fire control all logistics roads in the Lugansk region.
