The scheduled Rammstein meeting will take place in Brussels on October 12th. After a massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine, the approach to providing us with weapons may change.

About this Channel 24said political expert, head of the Center for Public Analytics “Tower” Valery Klochok. He believes that the meeting will determine new plans in terms of what weapons Ukraine should receive. p>Klochok believes that the meeting of the international contact group on the defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format is a working body. It decides who and what weapons can give us. In this part, in particular, the law on Lend-Lease was adopted in the USA.

These are all inseparable puzzles of one big picture. Because we must try to see things in a complex way, – said the political expert.

He recalled that the Lend-Lease law began to operate in early October. According to him, assistance is provided not only to Ukraine. And “Rammstein” is a working meeting that will determine what will be handed over to us. After a massive Russian missile attack, there were completely new incidents for his work.

As bitter as it is to admit, I think this will help us. We have to say it with some cynicism. Because we are in a very difficult situation. It cannot be said that all cruise missiles have already ended in Russia and they have nothing to shoot with. There is,” Klochok noted.

According to him, all this and the active overturning of troops from Belarus indicates that Russia does not abandon plans to continue the war in Ukraine and destroy us.

What Ukraine urgently needs now

Klochok noted that against this background, the participants in the Ramstein meeting already have other basic data for assessing Russian aggression and threat. They must decide otherwise.

Therefore, I have great hope that new plans will be outlined at this meeting. Not that after that a decision will be made to transfer something tomorrow. But there are new plans in terms of what weapons Ukraine should receive,โ€ he said.

According to him, it would be good if the issue of transferring F-15 and F-16 aircraft was raised at the meeting. After all, Ukraine really needs these fighters.

It is already more than obvious that it is necessary to give an appropriate rebuff to the air targets of the Russian Federation, which appear even over the territory of Russia, but carry out missile strikes. We have every right to destroy them in the air, but we have nothing,โ€ Klochok emphasized.

In his opinion, this issue should be on the agenda one of the most key, in addition to providing an air defense system and anti-aircraft missile complexes. Moreover, the relevant discussion continues. And the United States has even allocated money for the training of our pilots. The Ukrainians suffered this and paid with the lives of their compatriots.
