As local governor Alexander Bogomaz reported, the fire started after a drone attack, but the UAVs themselves were allegedly shot down. Therefore, according to the Russian authorities, drone debris fell on energy infrastructure facilities in the region.

In general, says Bogomaz, six UAVs were allegedly shot down over the territory of the Bryansk region.

It is noteworthy that local Telegram channels write that the fire occurred at an electrical substation, and before that five to six explosions could be heard.

In addition, Russian media published a video from the scene where you can see a bright fire at an object that really looks like an electrical substation.

Recall that on April 16, one of the Russian substations was already on fire in the Bryansk region. Then Russian military facilities were left without power supply.

In addition, on the same day in the Bryansk region, an enemy long-range radar station (radar) Nebo-U was hit.
