After a missile attack on Odessa, debris allegedly fell in Transnistria – media

The Government of Moldova sent military observers to the unrecognized Transnistria, where they previously announced the alleged discovery of rocket debris in the village of Kitcani after a Russian attack on the Odessa region on the night of September 25.

This is reported by the local publication Newsmaker with reference to official statement from Chisinau.

— Regarding the probable missile discovered in the Transnistrian region, we inform you that military observers from the joint peacekeeping force have been sent to the scene of the incident. The origin of the object has not yet been established, and its flight trajectory has not been confirmed by independent sources, — stated in the Cabinet of Ministers.

Before this, the co-chairman of the Joint Control Commission for the management of the peacekeeping operation from the unrecognized Transnistria, Oleg Belyakov, said that in the village of Kitskany, fragments of an S-300 missile were found in one of the vegetable gardens.

< p>According to him, they were found after an explosion that was heard by residents of Kitskan, Tiraspol and Bender around one in the morning.
