What is known about the fire at the Russian airfield
As early as February 28, in the Russian city of Yeysk in the Kuban, local residents saw heavy smoke near a military airfield. Two explosions were also reported.
It is known that there is a large shared airfield at the western end of the city. The 859th Center for the combat use of the flight personnel of naval aviation and the 190th training mixed aviation regiment of the Russian Navy are based at this airfield.
The head of the Yeysk region explained this by “military tactical exercises.” The administration of the Yeysk region refutes any information about explosions on the territory of the airfield.
