What is the status Admitted to the competition
Status Admitted to the competition means that the applicant who submitted the application is admitted to participate in the competitive selection for budget places or for contract training.
After successful competitive selection, the applicant is recommended for enrollment. At the same time, the status in the electronic application changes from Admitted to the competition to the status Recommended for enrollment.
If the applicant does not pass the competitive selection and is denied admission to the chosen university, then the application is assigned the status Refused by the higher education institution and the reason for the refusal is indicated.
The applicant can also follow the progress of the admissions campaign on the websites of the chosen universities. The Admissions Committee can also change the status to Admitted to the competition.
Admitted to the competition: what to do next
If the applicant successfully submitted the application and received the application status Admitted to the competition, then the next step will be — wait for the date of publication of the final ranking lists, according to which recommendations for admission are provided.
The ranking lists will be formed by August 5, 2024.
During the 2024 admissions campaign, you can view the ranking lists of applicants to universities on the website of the information system Vstup.OSVITA.UA. These lists will be published for each specialty separately.
The ranking lists will indicate:
- competition scores;
- entrance exam results and NMT/VNO certificates;
- other information related to the progress of the admissions campaign.
If before August 5 an applicant sees that his status in his personal account has changed from Admitted to the competition to Recommended for enrollment, then he must:
- confirm the choice of educational institution;
- fulfill the enrollment requirements in accordance with the rules of the chosen university;
- conclude an agreement on the provision of educational services (if necessary).
Enrollment on the budget occurs no later than August 10, and enrollment on a contract no later than August 30, 2024.
