The new government of the Netherlands will transfer new military aid to Ukraine. The weapons will also include an additional Patriot complex.

The new Patriot complex should further strengthen the protection of the Ukrainian sky. Dutch Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs Ruben Brekelmans and Casparo Veldkamp announced this at a joint briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Kiev.

Ukraine will receive another Patriot from the Netherlands

Dmitry Kuleba noted that together with his Dutch partners it was possible to discuss the transfer of an additional Patriot air defense system to Ukraine. In particular, it was possible to approve how this initiative will be implemented and the expected delivery time of this complex to Ukraine.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also added that the Netherlands recently decided to purchase weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers.

In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Casparo Veldkamp said that his country will allocate 2 million euros for forensic research and identification of bodies in Ukraine.

We also plan to transfer a forensic laboratory to Ukraine. So that you have forensic capabilities closer to the front line to ensure justice for the families of all Ukrainians whose bodies are returned from the front, Veldkamp emphasized.

The head of the Dutch Foreign Ministry also noted that the Netherlands will help return the children, which Russia won.

It is worth noting that the trip to Ukraine was the first foreign visit for the new Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Ruben Brekelmans and Casparo Veldkamp.

Earlier, Germany transferred the third Patriot complex to Ukraine. This anti-aircraft missile system has already arrived in Ukraine and is protecting our skies from enemy air targets.
