On Sunday, July 6, a traffic accident involving a passenger bus with Ukrainian registration occurred on the road between the towns of Kunszentmárton and Tiszaföldvár in Hungary.

As reported by the consular section of the Ukrainian embassy, diplomats quickly arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary data, 19 people were injured in the accident, including 17 minors of Ukraine. At least four children were seriously injured. All the victims were taken to hospitals.

The remaining 49 passengers who were not injured were given temporary accommodation and breakfast.
— The injured were taken to hospitals in Szolnok, Kecskemét and Szentes. The remaining passengers are currently in the Kunszentmárton Community Centre. In cooperation with local authorities, they have been provided with temporary accommodation and breakfast, the statement added.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary is in constant contact with local authorities and medical institutions where citizens were hospitalized.
The case is under the special control of the diplomatic institution.
