About 400 cases of rape by occupiers are reported/Pexels
After the liberation of the Kiev region from enemy occupation, people began to report rape by the Russians. Subsequently, the hotline for providing psychological support received more than 400 calls with stories of Russian sexual violence against Ukrainians.
This was reported by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Lyudmila Denisova, in an interview with Public.

At the end of March, a free round-the-clock hotline began to operate to provide psychological support to victims of sexual violence. From April 1 to April 14, there were 400 such calls. And even now they continue.
These cases are terrible. When psychologists say that they, of course, met with victims of domestic violence, but what Russian soldiers did with our women, girls, children, elderly people, men was hundreds of times tougher, Denisova said.
< p>According to Lyudmila Denisova, appeals about sexual violence from the temporarily occupied territories are received only when communication is resumed there. But there were no calls from Mariupol.
“We will be amazed, I think several times more, after this city is liberated (Mariupol – Channel 24). Because these crimes … The fact that they now they are committing – they burn the bodies of our citizens so that there is simply no evidence of their crimes later. This is also scary,” she stressed.
