“I do not leave any section of the front without attention, including where there is a threat of new enemy attacks,” noted Syrsky.
According to him, last week Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 60 Russian assaults in this area, and fighting continues today.
Syrskyi familiarized himself in detail with the operational situation on the spot, discussed ways to strengthen defense with the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine, identified the military’s priority needs, and gave instructions on resolving pressing issues.
“The Russians are trying to put pressure on us with numbers, but we must be prepared to use effective tactical and technological solutions to prevent the enemy from advancing,” the commander-in-chief emphasized.
