When will the zoo open and how will it work
According to the mayor, the Nikolaev Zoo will start working for visitors from June 11.
So far, it can only be visited on weekends. It will operate from 9 am to 4 pm. The cash desks will be open until 15:00. The zoo's website states that admission for children under 6 is free. For children from 6 to 13 years old, a ticket costs 60 hryvnia, for adults – 100 hryvnia.
I am sure you will enjoy walking in the zoo. In addition, despite the war and the fact that the institution was closed to visitors for three months, its employees did everything to keep the animals and the territory in proper conditions. says Sienkiewicz.
According to him, the landscaping has even been improved.
Dangerous situation in Mykolaiv region
- < li>The Russian occupiers are increasingly shooting at the region, and especially destroying the regional center. Vitaly Kim warned that the situation in Mykolaiv region is now more dangerous than 2 weeks ago. Now the Russians use not only MLRS, but also long-range artillery. With Pion, the enemy is hitting Nikolaev and other cities in the region almost daily.
- Recently, Nikolaev again came under enemy fire. Russian invaders attacked a school and a private window manufacturing company. Because of this, one person died at the scene of the shelling, another one was injured. The goal of the Russians is to cause as much damage to the city as possible, because they cannot capture it. For the situation to improve, they need to move away from the region. After all, there are temporarily occupied areas in the Mykolaiv region.
- Also, Vitaly Kim advised the locals not to return home yet, because the danger is still significant. The situation has escalated and it will be still dangerous to return to the city for two or three weeks. In the region, Russian shells have already damaged or destroyed 3,600 objects, and this number is growing daily. In addition, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian invaders have killed 300 civilians in Mykolaiv region.
