Why the enemy is afraid of the F-16

Getman explained that the F-16 will primarily be used as an air defense weapon that will destroy enemy radar stations. The aircraft will launch anti-radar missiles and air-to-ground missiles that accurately hit the enemy targets. Since Ukraine will receive few fighters, they will probably be used in the southern direction.

After the strikes, the F-16 will work in tandem with Ukrainian attack aircraft and bombers, such as the Su-24, Su-25 and MiG-29, which will carry out attack operations in areas that are not covered by Russian air defense systems, and bombing troop concentrations, logistics centers, fuel and lubricant warehouses and headquarters. It will also be possible to counter Russian air defense in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, in particular in Crimea.
