A very dangerous decision for Russia: the Kremlin has found a new way to replenish the army Dzvenislava Moshovskaya

New methods of replenishing the army are being introduced in Russia. It is said that, in addition to payments for military service, Russians will have their debts written off. The main condition is signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country.

Political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman told Channel 24 that this is a very dangerous decision for the Russian economy. After all, the occupiers have paid a lot of money for participating in the war before.

The Russian economy can withstand

Mikhail Sheitelman noted that earlier the Kremlin was ready to pay from 20 to 30 thousand dollars for signing a contract. This is quite a large sum.

Now it has grown. Now in Russia they are ready to pay off the debt of any person with a limit of up to 10 million rubles. This is more than 100 thousand dollars.

Russia will now spend a huge sum on each new soldier. Thus, funding for new soldiers will become twice as expensive, and the former three times more expensive, compared to previous periods, the political strategist said.

In his opinion, the Kremlin is making such a dangerous decision because the occupiers do not have enough people willing to sign a contract with the Defense Ministry.

Interesting. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the abolition of one-time payments to prisoners who sign contracts with the military department. This decision came into force on January 1, 2025. Payments will only be financed for volunteers who apply to military registration and enlistment offices.

The innovation to increase payments will likely lead to even greater economic problems in Russia, which will help resolve the issue of personnel shortages.
