US to send 155 mm precision-guided projectiles to Ukraine : rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: ProximaNovaRegular, sans-serif;”> Aleksey Arestovich, a freelance adviser to the Office of the President, thinks so. He expressed his passion for the content of the new aid package from the Americans on the air with Russian opposition leader Feygin and explained what the value of the “gift” was.
245,000 artillery shells of 155 mm caliber is a very rich gift, – Alexey Arestovich noted.
Help. High-precision 155-millimeter caliber projectiles have greater accuracy, which will allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to more accurately hit specific targets. These artillery shells can be used on vehicles that Ukraine already has.
The adviser stressed that the exact number of these shells is classified, he only comments on the American press.
“We don't know for sure, but it's very solid. So far there have been deliveries – 35,000, 50,000, 100, and here 245,000 at once,” Arestovich added.
245K projectiles as effective as a million
He believes that this gift shows that the Americans are analyzing what exactly Ukraine needs and are actively helping!
Arestovich also explained that 245,000 is really a lot, given the efficiency each of these shells.
Considering the fact that where the Russian artillery fires 6 times, the Western one is enough, you can safely multiply 245 by 5 – this way we get a million shells in terms of efficiency and accuracy. This is a huge gift, – Arestovich emphasized once again.
