A third of the ships of the Russian fleet are disabled — they are destroyed or damaged, some of them — already after the repair, said the speaker of the Ukrainian Navy Dmitry Pletenchuk in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
How many Russian ships were destroyed
If we talk about the specific number of such ships — officially we are talking about 28 units, more than 10 were under repair, he notes.
— But many of the ships that are now in service also received damage. For example, both frigates Admiral Essen and Admiral Makarov. A significant part of the enemy ships have already become familiar with both drones and missiles. And some of them have already been restored. Some are still undergoing repairs, some will remain standing for a long time due to serious damage, — Pletenchuk explained.
The Navy speaker also emphasized that the Defense Forces hit large landing ships after repairs.

— And it was extremely difficult to repair them, because this is a 775 project, they are made in Poland. And the Poles, of course, refuse to serve them. And they tried to bypass the sanctions by buying some parts, substitutes. Therefore, I don’t think that they will now rush to repair these large landing ships, — he notes.
At the same time, according to him, launch vehicles remain the priority target, because these are the only ships that can still somehow influence us.
He also named those of them that had already been destroyed, and how many remained:
— Two MRKs and a submarine: Askold, Cyclone and Rostov-on-Don. Eight remain, among them three submarines, three Buyan-M MRKs and two frigates Essen and Makarov.
