During the three months of a full-scale war with Ukraine, Russian invaders abducted more than half a thousand civilians in Melitopol.
This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol on the air of a national marathon Ivan Fedorov, channel 24.

According to him, even when all school directors wrote letters of resignation, on the same evening, four of them were kidnapped and taken prisoner. And three days later they were released somewhere in the field.
In total, more than 500 people were kidnapped on the territory of our Melitopol during more than three months of occupation,” Fedorov noted.

Someone is held for three hours, and someone for more than three months. There is even an example when a 16-year-old child has been held hostage for almost 60 days for no reason and is not released from captivity.
“Therefore, the methods of the Russians are almost the same throughout the temporarily occupied territory in Ukraine. The occupiers definitely want to make sure that those who think differently leave these territories and do not interfere with their propaganda and political structure,” Fedorov added.

The invaders left the region, but remained in Melitopol

- At the same time, while the enemy is trying to “take everything” from the city. So, in one of the villages of the Melitopol region, where they decided to buy cherries for “ridiculous money” – 10 hryvnia per kilogram.
- In addition, the infidels took out all the grain from the elevators, which was only in the region.
