On the weekend of September 10 and 11, heavy rains will cover Ukraine. Therefore, it is necessary to stay at home or take an umbrella with you when going outside.
During September 10-11, significant rains are expected in the Chernihiv region and the danger level is yellow. This was announced by the head of the region Vyacheslav Chaus.
Bad weather attacks Chernihiv region
The total amount of precipitation in the region is expected to be close to the monthly norm (within 30-70 millimeters).
In places where heavy rains pass, significant local and slope runoff, a rapid rise in water levels in small streams with flooding of low places in settlements.
What will the weather be like throughout Ukraine
Forecasters predict a significant change in weather conditions. During September 10-11, in the western, northern, Vinnytsia, Cherkassy, Kirovograd, in the north of Odessa and Nikolaev, on September 11 and in the Poltava regions, there will be significant rains.
In some places there will be thunderstorms and wind gusts up to 15-20 meters per second. The level of danger is also expected to be yellow.
In addition, on September 10, an emergency level of fire danger will prevail in the Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk regions in Crimea.
In Ukraine, the first frosts
The first frosts have already been recorded in the North of Ukraine. We are talking about 1 – 2 degrees of frost at a height of 2 centimeters from the ground.
The relevant information was reported by the deputy head of the weather forecast department of the Ukrhydrometeorological center Natalya Golenya. A cold snap was recorded on the night of September 2.
“This night (it is said about the night against September 2 – channel 24) weak-weak frosts were already observed on the soil, that is, at a height of 2 centimeters, minus 1 – 2 degrees . This is in the north of Ukraine, along the northern border,” said Natalia Golenya.
