A soldier died from a grenade explosion near Kiev and his 13-year-old son was wounded – police

In the village of Chaiki, Kyiv region, a 39-year-old serviceman was killed as a result of a grenade explosion. His 13-year-old son is seriously injured.

According to the National Police of Ukraine, the guy is under medical supervision.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny confirmed that it was his assistant Gennady Chastyakov.
