In Ulyanovsk, Russia, the wives of those mobilized staged a flash mob – they put stickers on cars with messages like “bring back your husband.” Obviously, such actions can subsequently be seen in other cities of the aggressor country.

Such flash mobs are a real threat to the Putin regime. This opinion was voiced to Channel 24 by the head of the Center for Analysis and Strategy, Igor Chalenko.

Protest sentiments are growing

Igor Chalenko noted that the Russian occupiers have been at the front for a long time, and the aggressor country does not provide all the promised payments to their families. Moreover, the Kremlin does not even pay for the wreaths for the burial of the invaders.

Protest sentiments are growing. But the main focus is not on the fact that men are participating in the war against Ukraine. Either they spend a long time at the front, or they are not paid the promised monetary obligation. “Very often, in the third month, things don’t “drip” onto the card as planned,” he explained.

Russians' discontent is only growing. Therefore, it is not beneficial for Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin to openly announce large-scale mobilization. He will not do this before the presidential elections, but later he may take such a step.

“I think that now these are scarecrows before the elections to show Putin as a more balanced leader. But after the elections, of course, this moment can be realized by the Kremlin. But it poses a great danger to the regime,” Chalenko believes.

Flash mob of the wives of the occupiers: what is known

  • The wives of the occupiers do not want to go out to protest, so attempts to show their dissatisfaction are as stupid as everything else in Russia. Women put stickers on car windows. The images use the symbols of the invaders – the letters “Z” and “V” and write that they are “fucked up.”
  • On December 2, Russian media reported that in the city of Ulyanovsk, police called at least four relatives of those mobilized “to talk.” According to one of them, she was told about responsibility under the article “on discrediting the army.”
  • The wives of Russian conscripts coordinate their activities in the “Way Home” telegram community. When the relevant authorities drew attention to the activities of the women of Ulyanovsk, photographs of cars with stickers disappeared from the local chat.
  • The Russian women were invited to the meeting by the Deputy Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region. He demanded that the photos of the flash mob be removed and the stickers removed from the cars, but they refused.
