Bad weather raged in Ivano-Frankivsk. The downpour turned the streets into rivers, and the powerful wind broke many trees.
Rescuers told how they eliminated the consequences of bad weather in the Carpathian region. In total, more than 2 dozen employees of the State Emergency Service were involved in this.
Rescuers eliminate the consequences of bad weather in Ivano-Frankivsk
The State Emergency Service said that in As a result of intense precipitation and gusts of wind, residential areas in the Ivano-Frankivsk region were flooded.
Rescuers, together with the GPC of the village of Lany and KU “IF MARS”, were involved in pumping water three times. In particular, in Ivano-Frankivsk:
- on Lyubachevsky Street, where a private household was flooded,
- along Mira Street and Kalushskoye Shosse Street, water was pumped out of ten garage premises.
In addition, the State Emergency Service helped to cut trees felled as a result of bad weather that fell on the roadway in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kolomna and Gorodenka.
Also, Lana's rescuers helped to cut a tree hanging over a residential building as a result of a gust of wind. 22 rescuers and 6 special vehicles were involved in the elimination of the consequences of bad weather.
