The bridge collapse on the Kyiv-Odesa highway occurred at the 208th kilometer of the highway due to a traffic accident.
According to the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Cherkasy Oblast, the pedestrian bridge fell onto the roadway after the driver of a Renault dump truck, moving with a raised body, touched the span of the structure.
